General location:  About 5 miles east of I-75 and the town of Indian River.  In Section 35, Town 35 north, Range 2 west, Cheboygan County, Michigan.

Description:  Each parcel is level, well-drained and wooded with pine and oak trees.  Each parcel fronts on a year-round road and adjoins several sections of state land.   These parcels are different than other property on the market for two reasons:
1.  These 3 parcels are priced thousands less per acre than most other lots in the area.

2.   Just down the street is a large free public nature preserve on the Pigeon River.

Nature Preserve:  This is the Agnes S. Andreae Nature Preserve which is owned by the Little Traverse Conservancy.  It has over 1 mile of waterfront on the Pigeon River - think trout fishing - and is over 80 acres in size.  From our lots, stroll a short way north on Big Sky Trail to where Riverwood Rd starts on your left.  On your right is the parking lot for the nature preserve.  Follow the trail toward the river where you will find a cabin and stout footbridge across the river.  Enjoy the loop trail along the river and through the forest.

Directions:      From the Indian River freeway interchange, take M-68 east 5.5 miles and then turn left onto Onaway Rd. Follow Onaway Rd. 1.5 miles to Riverwood Rd. and turn right.  Stay on Riverwood Road until it ends at a "T" with Big Sky Trail.  There  is a small parking lot for the nature preserve straight ahead.  Turn right onto Big Sky Trail and go about 0.5 miles to our lots on your right.  Watch for the "Coldwell Banker" For Sale signs.

To return to Indian River and the freeway from our property, go back the way you came.  When you get to Onaway Road, if you want to go back exactly the way you came you would turn left, but you can also turn right and follow Onaway about 4 miles into town by a different route.
